Self-Guided Tours

Following the closure of the museum for renovation, we now welcome you to the temporary Champions of the World exhibition, housed in a 1,200 m² structure located at the South Gate of the circuit. Come and discover 18 exceptional cars.

Please note that this exhibition presents a curated selection of iconic vehicles, and not the 100 cars usually displayed in our museum.

“Champion du Monde”

Located at the South Gate of the Circuit, the temporary 24 Hours Museum — and its Official Store — welcomes visitors to a unique venue dedicated to the passion of motorsport, the history of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and Formula 1!
Motorsport enthusiasts will soon be able to wander through the exhibition once again: starting on August 1, 2025, the public is invited to discover this brand-new temporary setup. A unique experience to enjoy throughout the museum’s renovation, right in the heart of the circuit.

Champion du Monde

As soon as the temporary museum opens, a brand-new exhibition titled “Champion du Monde” will be unveiled. This exclusive display brings together legendary Formula 1 single-seaters and endurance prototypes that shaped the history of global motorsport.
Set inside a modern 1,200 m² structure across two floors, the exhibition highlights around fifteen iconic race-winning cars that clinched major titles in endurance or Formula 1. A powerful tribute to the drivers and manufacturers who dominated their disciplines — both internationally and at Le Mans.

The entry ticket also includes free access to the circuit (when open), extending your experience at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans site.

From the temporary museum, a marked walking path guides you to the pit straight and along the track to the Dunlop Bridge. Along the way, you’ll enjoy privileged views of the Bugatti circuit facilities.

Several accessible grandstands are located along the route — perfect for watching cars or bikes on track, depending on the day of your visit.

A QR code available at the museum provides exclusive digital content: fun facts, detailed explanations, interactive games, and more.

Please note that access to paddocks, technical buildings, and restricted areas is not permitted. The visit is limited to the designated public paths.
