This year is the 20th anniversary of BMW’s outright victory at Le Mans and the Automobile Club de l’Ouest invites you to a historic rendezvous with its new exhibition “The Art of victory” from 27th May to 6th October 2019 in the 24 Hours of Le Mans museum. It is an unprecedented journey through the annals of the famous endurance event in which you will relive 80 years of the history of BMW at Le Mans (1939-2019). This exhibition will enable you to discover the close, privileged links that the German make has forged with the world of art since 1975 thanks to Hervé Poulain, an auctioneer who wanted to combine his two passions: motor racing and art. You will see authentic cars, all with different designs, that have taken part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans ranging from the 328 to the CSL as well as the famous 320i Lichtenstein, the M1 Procar, Jenny Holzer’s V12 and Cesar’s McLaren F1 GTR.
10am to 7pm – To visit this exhibition you must have an entrance ticket for the museum
