Circuit 24, Story of a toy
An exhibition to return to childhood
From December 15, the world of toys and childhood will invest the Musée des 24 Heures du Mans for a temporary exhibition entitled « Circuit 24, histoire d’un jouet ».
The 24 Hours of Le Mans rocked the childhood of many enthusiasts. This is why, as Christmas approaches, the Musée des 24 Heures du Mans is offering a temporary exhibition related to childhood and the history of the largest endurance race in the world. You can go back in time with Circuit 24, this toy from the 1960s.
Thus, antique Circuit 24 boxes and objects will be exhibited, as well as 1/30th scale cars from the Circuit 24 collections of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest fonds. A slot car circuit reproducing the circuit of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, at the beginning of the 70s, will enhance the scenography. In addition, the Museum will offer a scale 1: 1 reproduction of a box and a Circuit 24 rail with two cars from the permanent collection.
For more information on the exhibition Circuit 24, histoire d’un jouet, visit the Musée des 24 Heures du Mans website.
Opening times
